Bidaai is a story of two sisters, Sadhna (beautiful) and Ragini (unattractive). Sadhna is the adopted child in the family.

Life is pleasant for Sadhna as she is beautiful but society is a bit rude and harsh on Ragini, who faces a lot more challenges because she is not good-looking.
Both the sisters love each other immensely and are good natured but society’s approach towards them makes Sadhna’s life difficult as her mother starts differentiating between them. Sadhna is treated like a step-daughter in the house and feels punished for her good looks but Ragini loves her unconditionally.

All-in-all, the story is about these two sisters whose \'looks\' determine their happiness. This unique story embarks the journey of two sisters and makes one question the belief - "Are beautiful people happier than ugly Bettys?"

EPISODE NUMBER- 466

Ranvir fumbles while answering and Mama understands that Avni is right. He keeps the money and leaves from there with a lot of pain. Vasu gets angry on Ranvir for hiding the truth.
Just then Bua arrives and favors Ranvir for helping Mama. Bua and Vasu enter into an argument. Sadhna tells Ranvir that indirectly he has hurt Mama by doing all this.

Inderjeet praises Alekh for the presentation he made today. They all leave and Bua fuels Ragini against Sadhna saying that Sadhna is against Mama. Ragini fumes on this statement of Bua and replies back. Bua is stunned and speechless. Sadhna is disturbed thinking about Mama, Alekh tells her about the presentation and asks her to sleep.

Sadhna feels happy for Alekh as he is getting more responsible. Ranvir and Ragini are discussing about Bua's behavior when Ranvir says that his decision of getting Bua back was not right. Bua, who was passing down the corridor, hears their conversation and gets stunned thinking that nobody wants her to stay in this house anymore.

WILL SADHNA SAVE RANVIR?

Star Plus and Rajan Shahi’s Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai is getting into more twist with lots more tension both at Rajvansh and Sharma family as now Sadhana(Sara Khan) who has gone to Sharma family.

In the coming episodes, the audience will find out that the Rajvansh family will now take the case to a higher court to get their son Ranveer back from the imprisonment and this time Sadhana will help them in their fight.

An Indya source, “Everyone in the family including Alekh is not talking with Sadhana as they feel that because of her Ranveer is in jail and this resulted in the miscarriage of Ragini and this further resulted in bad time both for Ragini, Alekh and Sadhana. She is not treated well at her myaaka, but only her uncle is supporting her. So in the coming weeks, Sadhana will slowly realize that she should help her family and her sister Ragini. In the meanwhile Ranveer misses Ragini and Alekh.”

Further, our source tells, “On the other hand, Malti Bhabhi will try to convince Veenu to get separated from the house as now even Sadhana has come so she is not happy with all the happenings because he is the only working man in the house and is successful in separating Veenu from his parents.”

We spoke to Kinshuk Mahajan aka Ranveer, “I just know that now they will appeal the case to the higher court so that Ranveer will be out. How and when I don’t know.”

His fee is rising as fast as his fame

Four-film-old Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly signed his latest film, to be directed by Imtiaz Ali, for a fee of Rs. 12 crore.

The film will be produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision.

Ranbir is on a high following his two back-to-back hits, “Wake Up Sid” and “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani”, and is being wooed by several top filmmakers.

The actor started off by making Rs. 50 lakh for “Saawariya”. “Wake Up Sid” and “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” reportedly fetched him Rs. 8 crore each.

This latest figure of Rs. 12 crore puts him in Bollywood’s top league.

No wonder this amount has encouraged him to refuse films with even the likes of Mani Ratnam. Does it mean less work and more money for the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ in India?

He’ll be stepping into Mogambo’s shoes in ‘Mr. India 2’

Producer Boney Kapoor has confirmed that Salman Khan will be playing the villain’s role in “Mr. India 2”. He refused to comment any further as the script is still to be finalized.

For the first time in his career, Salman will play a villain on the lines of Amrish Puri, whose portrayal of Mogambo in “Mr. India” is iconic.

“Mr. India 2” marks Sridevi’s comeback and will also star Anil Kapoor. The film will be directed by Anees Bazmee.
Salman and Boney share a very good bond. In fact, they got along very well during the making of their film “Wanted”. So when Salman heard that Boney was planning a sequel to “Mr. India”, he expressed a desire to star in the film.

Boney told Anees about casting Salman in the film, and Anees could not think of anything better than the role of the unforgettable Mogambo.

Salman is only too happy to play a negative character in the film as it will have a completely different look.

According to the buzz, Salman will be playing a terrorist who wants to rule over India and the story will be about how Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and their gang try to free the country with the help of an invention made by Anil Kapoor.

Katrina Kaif was born on July 16th 1984. She is one of eight siblings who are all girls. Her mother is of Caucasian-British decent and her father who is originally from Kashmir, India is now also a Britain Native.

Katrina Kaif was raised mostly in Hawaii and started modeling at the age of 14 in a jewelry campaign, which turned into a career and her spending most of her time in London modeling for various companies.

She was discovered by film maker Kaizad Gustad while she was modeling and she landed a role in the Bollywood film "Boom", getting her first big break in the film industry.

After arriving in India she was flooded with modeling contracts due to her innocent looking face, hour glass figure and gorgeous look. The offers came from companies like LG, Cola, Favicol and Lakme which is the commercial that got her noticed. Most of her early work was with photographer Atul Kasbekar.

She wasn't affected by moving from country to country and stated that no matter where you are from the bottom line is that everyone wants to be loved respected and cared for.

Unlike other fellow outsiders of India Katrina Kaif had no problems getting a visa to stay there. After public criticized by boyfriend Salman Khan, she is currently perfecting her Hindi and despite being linguistically challenged at first with the native tongue, she was still offered roles in Bollywood films. Katrina Kaif also takes dance lessons furthering her assimilation into the Bollywood culture.

Critics were not crazy about her first film "Boom" and audiences felt the same way. She went on to make two other Telegu films "Malliswari" and "Pidugu" which finally got her noticed. She made Rs.70 Lakhs from "Malliswari" making her one of the highest paid actresses during a south Indian film debut.

But the positive reports carried by De Dana Dan may just help him end the year on a high. "I believe I'm a part of Akshay's success. And I strongly believe that he has always stood with me and I've paid him back. This time also I'm 100% sure that I'll pay him back. I have had only one actor like him in my life and that is Mohanlal. He never asked me any time what are you doing with me. He never even asked me what the story of the film was. When someone trusts you like that then you have to pay it back. I have tried hard to do that and I hope God will be with me," says Priyadarshan.

'Veer' has been a 20-year dream of Salman Khan

Mumbai, Nov 23 (IANS) This dream has been a long time coming. When on Jan 22 the epic film "Veer" hits theatres, Bollywood actor Salman Khan would have fulfilled his dream of 20 years. The movie's first look will be unveiled Friday with "De Dana Dan".

"'Veer' has been a 20-year dream of Salman Khan. His involvement in this particular project is tremendous especially because he lived with the script for so long. It's like a dream come true for him," said a source close to the actor in a press statement.

The much-talked about film is about the bravery of a Pindari soldier and speaks of bravery exemplifying the courage of every oppressed Indian fighting for justice and independence. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film features Salman in never seen before avatar along with newcomer Zarine Khan.

Former Miss UK Lisa Lazarus too plays an important role in the film that also stars Mithun Chakraborty and Jackie Shroff along with Sohail Khan and Bharat Dabholkar.

"Salman has gone all out for this film. He has worked hard on his look for 'Veer' - right from the styling to his toned physique. The film has turned out great much to everyone's delight and is touted as Salman Khan's greatest work," said the source.

Produced by Vijay Galani, the film will be realeased worldwide by Eros International.

Galani has roped in Sajid Wajid for the music and Oscar winner Gulzar for the lyrics. This is composer duo's first historical film.

One of Bollywood's most bankable stars, Emraan Hashmi, says people have contantly tried to pull him down. He also believes the new film "Tum Mile" will present him in a new avatar, having mostly essayed roles with shades of grey.

"In the kind of industry I am, every creative person has a judgement to make about someone else's performance. After doing a movie, I may think that I have come up with my best act, but others may think otherwise. You can't help it," shrugs Emraan, 30.

"This is something that has happened ever since I made my debut with 'Footpath'. I went on to deliver successful films practically every year with 'Murder', 'Zeher' and 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' followed by 'Aksar' and 'Gangster'. Still people have tried to pull me down," Emraan told IANS in an interview.

He is sitting pretty on the back to back success of "Raaz - The Mystery Continues" and "Jannat". A year earlier, he came up with one of the best ever acts of his career in "Awarapan".

And now he is about to be seen in "Tum Mile", his most expensive film till date that will release on Nov 13. It co-stars Soha Ali Khan.

"It's a welcome change to have absolutely no grey shades in my character," says Emraan.

He is positive that after the release of the film, he would be looked upon as someone who can also show a sensitive side.

"For that opportunity, I am thankful to my director Kunal Deshmukh. If not for him, I would have continued playing the kind of roles I have been successful in. In fact, when Kunal spoke to me about the role, I was sceptical because I have never played a full-on romantic guy before."

He isn't overtly bothered about certain negative statements about him. "Honestly, I don't even look aside to see who is around for competition. There is nothing wrong if people choose to reserve certain remarks for me.

"To each his own since I have to basically live up to my own judgement and fulfil the expectations of those who matter," he says.

He has his fair share of admirers and supporters though.

"Yes, there are some out there who have been quite supportive throughout my career," he agrees. "My goal is to keep delivering successful solo hero films and also do an occasional multi-hero film if I have an equal part. This is why I agreed to do Milan Luthria's 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai'."

While he has been doing well as an actor after spending more than half a decade in the industry, does he have any plans to turn producer?

"I don't want to be in the hot seat," shoots Emraan in a tone of mock horror. "Mukeshji (Bhatt) tells me that being a producer is the toughest job in the world. I agree with him since he has decades of filmmaking experience.

"Today I am happy being an actor. Any aspirations to be producer are best kept on hold for a later stage."

Aamir thrills '3 Idiots' composer and lyricist

Aamir Khan is known to walk the path less travelled. And has done so again by choosing to release the music of his upcoming film "3 Idiots" (pictured above) online and getting the parents of composer Shantanu Moitra and lyricist Swanand Kirkire to grace the event.

Though he is not the producer or the director, Aamir was instrumental in organising the music release of the much awaited film.

Moitra and Kirkire are touched by the actor's gesture to call their parents instead of a Bollywood biggie to launch the music.

"It was Aamir's idea to release the music online and get it released by my and Shantanu's parents. This is something that is not done usually. We felt so nice," Kirkire told IANS

This is the first time that Kirkire, who has written lyrics for films like "Eklavya: The Royal Guard", "Lage Raho Munna Bhai", "Parineeta" and "Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi", has worked for an Aamir starrer.

Moitra, too, was overwhelmed by the 44-year-old's gesture and said it was not only an honour for him, but for his parents too.

"My mother had a small accident few days before the launch and I was in two minds about taking her from Delhi to Mumbai. But Aamir messaged saying that on occasions like these it is great if we can have our parents with us so I should get them flown. He didn't have to but he still messaged," Moitra told IANS over the phone.

"It was a great honour for my parents to stand amidst such stars and launch their child's work. I was happy but it was also a very happy moment for my parents to see their son do well," he added.

Moitra has also scored music for films like "Khoya Khoya Chand", "Lage Raho Munna Bhai", "Yahaan" and "Parineeta" among others.

Based on Chetan Bhagat's bestseller "Five Point Someone", "3 Idiots" also stars Kareena Kapoor as well as R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. It is slated for a Dec 25 release.

Hollywood 's "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" could take a nearly $100 million bite from movie theater box offices when it debuts this weekend. "New Moon," which debuts in the United States and Canada on Friday, is independent studio Summit Entertainment's sequel to last year's "Twilight," which surpassed expectations by making $69.6 million in its first weekend.

Jeff Bock, box office analyst with tracking firm Exhibitor Relations Co Inc, also believes the film could make nearly $100 million, and a source close to Summit said it could rake in nearly $85 million.

The film is slated to debut in 4,024 theaters in the U.S. and Canada, which is not a record but is far more than the roughly 3,500 theaters in which major releases normally open.

If "New Moon" reaches the $100 million mark, it will approach the record $102 million for "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," which debuted in November 2005 and sits atop the charts as the biggest opening weekends outside Hollywood's blockbuster-heavy summer season of May to August.
